A Series: Simple a

Hear me out. I’m here to tell you, organizing your underwear drawer will make you feel like a new woman. That’s actually a slight exaggeration but it WILL make you feel like you’ve got your life together for a few minutes at the start of each day and
How much nicer would each day begin if you weren’t peering into your dresser drawer to see what appears to be the contents of a thrift store bag that has been dumped unceremoniously into your dresser? Wouldn’t it be great to NOT start the day off with a scavenger hunt for your foundational garments? To open a drawer with undergarments you actually LIKE that are all organized and cared for in the way that they should be?
Yeah. You need that in your life. You may be the same woman you were in 2018 but by
Declutter your Unmentionables.

Start by getting rid of anything that doesn’t fit, is stained or worn out. Seriously- hold it up and ask yourself: “Is this serving me?” If it doesn’t- throw it out. Organize your lingerie into piles: bras, sports bras, underwear, special occasion, slips, shapewear, etc.

If there are some gaps in your piles, I highly recommend going online to Her Room to replenish. They are a one-stop shop for all things lingerie. They have extensive articles and videos on how to take your measurements, LOADS of reviews on each garment and their sales are really ah-mazing. They also give you a cute lingerie bag with purchase. The beginning of the year is the perfect time to restock and refresh your foundation garments. You’ll be glad you did.
Tip: If you are looking for panties that don’t show, but that aren’t thongs- look no further than the Ongassamer Mesh Series (seen above). They never show a panty line, feel light as a feather and protect from the dreaded camel toe <shriek!>. And because they are made of a European mesh they are perfect for travel because you can hand wash them and they’ll be dry in a flash. A hard-working panty that looks feminine and pretty…..I’m all about it.
You can shop them here. (Currently on sale!)
Determine proper storage for your undergarments
There are so many ways to store your undergarments, so think about what will work best for your room layout and space restrictions. Bins for the closet or under the bed, or storage dividers for your drawer.
I use these storage dividers for my drawers and they do a perfect job.

Organize!
If you can store your bras upright and within each other, they keep their shape and you can see everything at a glance. If your bras are larger cup sizes, this doesn’t always work. I fold mine within each other and place them into these dividers.
Panties and hosiery store perfectly in small honeycomb dividers and are easy to find with just a glance.
Shapewear and sets can also be simply stored in small, plastic zippered bags or right inside zippered, mesh wash bags and stacked to the side.
When you’re all done, step back and open the drawer. Look how much you have your life together already. You’re a rock star. Seriously- everyone should be like you. Enjoy the beginnings of your new streamlined morning.
Below I’ve listed my favs. They are all on sale right now. In full disclosure I’m a DD so minimizer bras are a thing for me. The undergarments I’ve listed tick all the boxes for me: They do their job, look pretty and all with minimal fuss.

I’m such a organized person. There is so clutter in my house. Except……Yes my underwear is a mess. This looks fabulous!
I’m pretty organized too Nancy and doing this one thing made my mornings so much better! I can’t tell you how nice it is peering into that organized drawer in the mornings! Thanks!

Oh my gosh this is fabulous! I need to do this! I love to be organized but without the right tools it is hard to stay organized!
Peace!
Cheryl
Thank you Cheryl! Its so true about the right tools. I have recently tamed my vanity area with the purchase of a simple acrylic organizer. I usually hate those things, but they’ve begun making them very pretty and much more useful. I kind of love looking at it, lol.

I’m pretty sure I was able to work “like a creamed cracker” into a conversation the other day- everyone just acted like they knew what I meant. bwahahaha! Love it!
