While I may post a bit on Facebook and Instagram (follow me!) this will be my last post of 2018 as I turn off the computer to focus on my family and all that Christmas means to us. This is such a special season and I’m excited to celebrate it! I wish that I could scoop up the rest of my family and transport them out to Colorado for Christmas!
As women over 40, we share so many of the same challenges as we age and in 2019 I’d like to focus even more on things that make life easier for all of us in this season of life. It is my goal for this blog to be a place of encouragement and value to each one of you. We are in this together
As I fill out my calendar for 2019, I would love to hear from you! What is it you’d like to hear about next year? Any product reviews, procedures, fashion trends, hacks, makeup tutorials? Whatever it is that you want to know about, shoot me an email at freshairandfalslashes@gmail.com and I will research it and get it on the calendar!
Thank- you so much to each and every one of you for your support of my blog. Every single one of your comments, clicks, pins, and shares helps this little blog of mine to grow and I am so grateful that you think anything I’ve written is worth any of those. Most of you probably have no idea how much each comment, share, like, etc. means to a blogger. None of this would be possible without you, the readers. Thank you.
Have a truly lovely holiday and don’t get caught up in the trap to achieve “social media perfection” or just check off a bunch of boxes this Christmas. (Pssst…….That’s not real- and we are too old to fall for it.) Focus on “being” rather than “doing”….. that’s where the real magic happens.

And here is my recipe for Saltine Toffee (aka “Christmas Crack”)
And here and here are some of my favorite cocktails to make during the holidays.
Sending the very warmest holiday wishes from my house to yours. I am so thankful for each one of you. May you have a very Merry Christmas and the Happiest of New Years!

Merry Christmas to you, Melissa! I hope you and your family feel loved and blessed to be with each other during the holidays. Enjoy every moment, and take lots of photos!
On a superficial note, your legs and hair look INCREDIBLE in this photo. Wowza, lady.
Christmas Crack is one of my favourite posts ever. I dare not actually make it (thankfully I can’t find saltines in the UK, or I would). I have re-read it many times and laugh out loud every single time. It is not right that you are that beautiful and that funny and clever too. 🙂
Love to you, xxx
Lisa, you are too too sweet. Thank you. Your comment totally made my day! Are there seriously no saltines in the UK??? How odd- but then what would they call them? If they were called “crackers” it would be super confusing. 😀 I bet the excitement is high at your house at this time of year with that little cutie you have! Enjoy!
