My husband loves football. He played in highschool and then went to college on a full football scholarship. We met in college and when we started dating I told him I LOVED football. That was a complete and full out lie- I mean, I LOVED watching HIM play football……but that was about it. He was shocked later in our relationship when I didn’t want to spend hours in front of the TV on Saturdays, lol! (oh well. A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. No regrets on my end!) Over the years, I came to realize that for several months out of the year, leading up to the Super Bowl, I would not have control of our TV. It was a small price to pay, so I eventually got with the program and learned to love football! Most years we really looked forward to hosting a Super Bowl party. Over time, I started offering healthier options for our Super Bowl table as well as some old faithful stand-bys. Here are the healthy Super Bowl Appetizers I’m making this year.
