I shared this pic on Facebook after getting my hair color touched up and a lot of ladies liked this makeup look and wanted to know more information. It’s been awhile since I’ve done a makeup post so I thought I’d post it here on the blog too! This is an easy summer look that I apply with a light hand to keep it super natural looking.
P.S.- I am still firmly embracing the middle part in my hair!

Here are all the products and shades I’m wearing:
These products are pricier than what I typically post on my site, but these are the ones I really LOVE. I’ve built up my collection over time and I do think that these brands really do well on mature skin. The formulations of these products are what goes a long way to keep this easy summer look fresh and not looking overdone on my over 50 year old face!
Foundation > Born this Way, Shade: Warm Beige
A medium to full coverage foundation that does not settle into fine lines and wrinkles. It looks very natural and I like to apply it with the large, round end of these makeup sponges from Amazon , dampened for a flawless finish. This is applied over my sunscreen, which you can read more about here if you’d like.
Concealer > Tarte Shape Tape, Shade: light/medium
This is a holy grail concealer for me because it conceals without settling into the lines under and around my eyes. In fact- it immediately makes them look less noticeable. I apply it with the same beauty sponge, using the pointed tip.
Blush> Charlotte Tilbury, Shade:First Love.
Like everything from this brand- it is worth the hype! Blush can be hard on mature skin, but this one is pure perfection. I use this brush and apply with a very light hand. If you’d like $15 off your first order you can use this link. This brand is completely addictive and has a cult following for good reason. You will not be disappointed.
Highlighter> Liquid Glow by Anastasia beverly Hills, Shade: Perla.
The best highlighter I’ve found! The liquid formula makes the glow look like it comes from within and this one looks good on mature skin without being too overdone. Just a subtle highlight as the light hits it when you move-not too “glowy”. Beautiful formula!
Lips> Charlotte Tilbury, Shade: Pillow Talk.
Again- the hype is real and this shade really IS gorgeous on everyone. I’ve not worn anything else since I got this. Here is the link for $15 off and there is a sale on this right now! On the web site you can see how this looks on every skin tone and the formulations are unlike anything else I’ve ever tried. .
Lashes> Lashify, Length A-14.
I’ve written about this brand before here and I continue to LOVE this lash solution for myself. I apply these about once every 4-5 days. With gentle use, these are reusable at least once. I will lose the occasional corner lash overnight, etc. but thats it- they stay put and I love them!
I’m wearing a mix of old palettes, but I’ve linked a similar one that I also own and reach for often. You can see exactly how I apply my eye makeup for my hooded eyes here. My next palette purchase will be this one that I’m dying over. If you go to the site the video tutorial is of this palette being applied to a mature face. It’s beautiful!
I love the ease of this soft pencil that comes with a sharpener and a brush. This goes on really easily without any fall out and it stays all day until I take it off. I sketch in my brows using short strokes and over line just slightly just on the top. Then I use the spoolie brush to spread the product and create a more natural look.
Setting Spray> Everyday Vacay, Ciate London. This is a totally new obsession for me this summer. This is the best setting spray I’ve ever used! It will leave you with just a hint of a dewey finish and your makeup will last all day. It smells like coconut and feels fresh and hydrating on the skin. I seriously LOVE this product. Spray in a “T” formation and then an “X” formation for good coverage. It smells amazing.

The $8 Tank I’m LOVING this summer.
This little linen blend tank completes my easy summer look. It keeps selling out in our local store, but there are still colors and sizes available online. The length is perfect and it is such a great summer weight tank. You do need a racerback bra with this, but for $8 I’m not sure you could find a more versatile summer top! (If you don’t like a light, summer weight fabric, you won’t like this.)
